Congratulations to the local high school graduates who received scholarship awards from ECCF Funds!

Several graduates from local high schools were the recipients of scholarship awards through Funds at the Eau Claire Community Foundation. These Funds were established by families and organizations in the Altoona, Eau Claire, and Elk Mound areas. The scholarship recipients are as follows:

School District of Altoona:

Larry E. Fischer Scholarship ($1,000): Ashley Kaszubowski (Kenyon College)

Talha Aslam Memorial Scholarship ($500): Benjamin Bain (UW-Madison)

Eau Claire Area School District:

Alvin and Marcia Lechleitner Scholarship ($1,000 each): Memorial High School Graduate Timothy Davis (UW-Eau Claire) and North High School Graduate Nathan Thompson, (UW-Eau Claire)

Memorial High School Class of ‘60 Scholarship ($520): Memorial High School Graduate Elizabeth Anderson (Marquette University)

Stromwall Family Scholarship ($1,000): Memorial High School Graduate Camie Werlein (University of Minnesota, Twin Cities)

Elk Mound Area School District:

Clarence and Isabel Berger Family Scholarship ($500 each): Aleah Kurtzhals (Winona State University), and Payton Burcaw (University of Minnesota – Duluth)

Elk Mound Alumni Scholarship ($1,000 and $500): Tori Blaskowski (UW-Madson) Grace Roder (UW-La Crosse), Kate Mohr (Minnesota State-Mankato), and Sierra Simpson (CVTC).
