August Job Board
Do you want to join a fun and innovative team? We are now hiring for:
SB 1383 Goodie Bags
Now that you have received your SB 1383 goodie bag, what's next?*
-Use the green food waste bags to contain food scraps before throwing the food waste in your green waste cart. Food waste bags are fully compostable and can be used in green waste carts without issue, as they aren't made of traditional plastics.
-Put the new organic waste reference magnet somewhere where you can see it daily. This "cheat sheet" will help you determine what should be placed in your green waste cart.
-Utilize the Household Food Waste Guide for a visual of what to recycle, toss in the garbage, or put in green waste. This Guide also contains popular FAQs and El Dorado Disposal contact information.
-Keep the El Dorado Hills Community Services District Trail Map in you car, backpack, or stroller. EDH residents continue to list trails and open space as a top priority, and we made this map for you!
*If you have not yet received your bag, please pick one up at the Resident Services Office, located at 1021 Harvard Way. Office hours: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
SAVE THE DATE
Our biggest event of the year is happening next month. Save the date for Summer Fest, a night filled with food, games, rides, music, and more at Community Park. Happening September 16th from 4-9:30pm. Beat the crowds and buy children's wristbands in advance here. Looking to volunteer? Be on the lookout for volunteer sign ups opening next month.
