Schools and Libraries
December 2, 2022
From: Emily Williston Memorial LibraryDear Library Friends and Followers,
It's going to be a bright and eventful December at the Library. First, a book club update!
Starting December 5, you can pick up copies of An Unnecessary Woman, Jan 19th ECOA Book Discussion. Don't sleep on this title, it's a quiet winner and very thought provoking.
With a new year comes a brand new 2023 Monday Night Book Club schedule, with two meeting dates in January. The first meeting is Monday, Jan 2nd. See you there.
We have too many exciting Youth programs to count--highlights include Sushi Candles, Creative Gift Giving, Gingerbread People, and so many more. Don't forget to check the calendar and sign up, spaces will go fast for some of these events.
If you're preparing to do some holiday gifting, we encourage you to shop at our in house Friends of the Library Book Sale--we're putting out great new gently used books daily, at very reasonable prices, and all proceeds go to supporting Library programs! Win-win! If you think you might be interested in joining the Friends and helping to support the Library in fun and creative ways, please send me an email at [email protected].
Please remember that masking remains a requirement for all indoor programs--it's how we keep them safe and accessible! For our full lineup of December activities, keep reading, and check out our Calendar. We'll see you soon at the Library!
Happy reading,
Katya
