MADISON, Wis. — On Sep 9th, Heartland Signal revealed new audio where California bank owner Eric Hovde confirms that his bank is accepting deposits from foreign governments, yet he still refuses to come clean about the foreign countries these deposits belong to, saying, “who cares if a foreign government has a deposit in my bank?”
Hovde is the owner of a $3.2 billion California bank, which has held as much as $118 million in deposits from foreign banks and governments. Hovde is refusing to tell Wisconsin voters where these deposits are from, how much he’s actually worth, and how he stands to profit from owning his $3.2 billion California bank if he becomes a U.S. Senator.
“If Eric Hovde thinks no one cares about the foreign governments filling his bank with deposits, he should have no problem saying which foreign countries these deposits belong to. It’s time Eric Hovde stops hiding from Wisconsin voters and reveals the truth about these deposits and the conflict of interest they’d create if he were in the Senate,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Arik Wolk.
