En Foco's Managing Director Oscar Rivera makes up part of the review committee for the 2025 Daylight Photo Awards!

The Daylight Photo Awards is an annual awards program originally launched in 2012. This year, one grand prize winner will receive a $2500 cash prize, a digital portfolio and a chance to have their project considered for publication.

Previous Daylight Photo Award winners include Verena Bruening, Takako Kido, Donavon Smallwood, Maria Sturm, Matthew Genitempo, Marta Zgierska, Bryan Schutmaat, Aaron Vincent Elkaim, Tamas Dezso, and Katrin Koenning among others.

The Bandung Residency, presented by the Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) and The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), is an opportunity designed to uplift the work of organizers, artists, educators, and waymakers whose practice is intended to foster solidarity between Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and Black communities.

The deadline for applications is May 14, 2025. Virtual info session is on April 23, 2025 at 6pm.

As part of the six-month-long residency in NYC, participants will:

- Receive a $3,000 honorarium
- Participate in learning exchnages led by an anti-oppression coach
- Attend conversations witj prominment community leaders
- Create a new or build upon an exisitng project, art presentation/installation, performance, workshop or experience designed as a community activity that will inspire solidarity or create discourse between AANHPI and Black communities
