Our season concludes with Rejoice!, an evening of stirring sacred masterworks on Saturday, May 13 at 7:30 pm in First United Methodist Church.

Artistic director Peter Steenblik will lead our 100-voice chorus and organist Hyunjoo Kim in music from England, Germany, and the United States, including music for multiple choirs.

The program features Benjamin Britten's festival cantata Rejoice in the Lamb, a setting of eccentric, endearing verse by 18th-century poet Christopher Smart. It also includes works by Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Franz Biebl, Heinrich Schütz, and Felix Mendelssohn, as well as William Dawson's classic arrangements of three beloved spirituals.
