The Falmouth Public Library and its Branches will be closed on Sunday, February 19th and Monday, February 20th in observance of President's Day.
New Aspen Catalog Tutorials
Coming February 27th
CLAMS announced recently that all consortium libraries will be switching over to the new Aspen Discovery catalog, which will debut for the public on Monday, February 27th. At the Falmouth Public Library, staff have been preparing for the transition and training on the new software, and we’re very excited about the new features that Aspen will bring! Saturdays: Scavenger Hunt from 9am-12pm at the East Falmouth Branch
Tuesdays: Stories, Songs and Instruments from 10am-10:30am at the East Falmouth Branch
Stay & Make: Drop-In Craft from 10am-2pm at the North Falmouth Branch
Black History Month Scavenger Hunt
Black History Month celebrates the many important African American influencers and contributors who have moved and continue to move our world into the future.
Stop by the Children's room between Thursday, February 16th and Tuesday, February 28th from 10am-5pm to learn about some of the many extraordinary people that we honor this month and every month!
Take a Black History Month Scavenger Hunt question sheet and search the Children's room for answers. Then bring your question sheet up to children's desk with at least 10 questions answered to claim your prize!
Please note the library will be closed on Sunday February 19th, Monday February 20th, Saturday February 25th and Sunday February 26th.
Family Movie Afternoon - Disney's Frozen
Join us on Wednesday, February 22nd at 1pm in the Hermann room for our Family Movie Afternoon movie of Frozen! This movie is rated TV-PG with a running time of 1 hour and 42 minutes. Registration is encouraged and walk-ins are welcomed if space allows. Pajamas are encouraged and one free bag of popcorn per child will be provided while supplies last. Feel free to bring your own popcorn too!
