For 31 years, Festival of Trees has dazzled guests with sparkling displays of light while supporting Cascade Health’s charitable programs, including compassionate end-of-life care at the Pete Moore Hospice House.

5:30pm - 8:00pm : Cocktails, Crafts and Conifers

kicks off Festival with early-bird tree previews, interactive holiday craft demonstrations and delicious drinks and bites.
Cocktails, Crafts & Conifers

Kick off Festival and get a sneak peek at the trees and silent auction on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 5:30-8 p.m. Bring your friends and sip festive cocktails while you learn to make adorable crafts and meet our talented tree designers. We’ll announce the winners of the 2023 tree awards, so you’ll be the first to find out which tree took home the ribbon for “Most Holiday Spirit” and which was named “Most Whimsical.”

The elegant Starlight Celebration Gala (Saturday Nov. 25, 5:30 p.m.) invites you to put on your festive finest and enjoy a night out with friends.

Light Up a Life Sunday, Nov 26, 4 pm, Cascade Health’s candlelight ceremony honoring loved ones lost, brings the week’s events to a meaningful close.

This year’s highlights include:

The signature Tour of Trees showcases 45 gorgeously decorated trees available for purchase in our silent and live auctions.  

The Festival Marketplace, featuring local vendors with handmade and artisan wares, is perfect for holiday gift shopping.

Craft demonstrations from a variety of artists will improve your skills in creating ornaments, wreaths, cards, decorations, gingerbread and more.

Special live performances for the whole family include music, dance, magic, storytime and more.  

Kids craft activities offer fun and festive delight for all ages.

The silent auction features an array of exciting packages and experiences up for bid in-person and online.

Light Up a Life Candlelight Ceremony

The holidays can be a difficult time for people who have lost a loved one. Balancing happy memories with feeling of profound loss can be hard.

Light Up a Life is a tree and candle lighting ceremony that gives people of all spiritual backgrounds the opportunity to pay tribute as we read the names of those who have passed.

The event is open to everyone in the community and is free to attend, though we require an RSVP and ask that you consider making a $15 donation.
