Special Event: Holiday Parade - Free Event

The holiday season kicks off with a larger-than-life celebration as the Midwest’s largest helium balloon parade returns to downtown Davenport! Featuring an array of giant, colorful character balloons, this year’s parade will include favorites like the Santa Garfield, a GIANT Blue Macaw, PJ Mask, the classic Gingerbread Man, and even Kung Fu Panda! And who knows? You might spot a few more surprises along the way.

This FREE, family-friendly event will be broadcast live by KWQC-TV6, showcasing not only the massive balloons but also dazzling floats, spirited dance groups, marching bands, vintage cars, and the reigning pageant queens—all coming together to bring joy and excitement to the heart of the Quad Cities. And, of course, Santa Claus himself will make a special appearance to spread some holiday magic!

Special Event: Teddy Bear Tea

Children are invited to bring their favorite plush toy to the cutest party at Festival – the adorable Teddy Bear Tea party! Youngsters and their adult guests will enjoy a special tea party experience with yummy snacks, activities, and an appearance by Festival’s Costumed Characters.

Each special guest will take home their very own bear! Mary Macaroni will entertain and keep everyone dancing and singing with her songs.?A wide selection of raffle items will be available, as well as photo packages for purchase by Carlson Creative Images.?

9 am – 7 pm - SugarPlum Ball

Quoted as the “best event in the Quad Cities,” this magical evening is designed for all the special sugarplums and their favorite grown-ups. Get ready to dress up, enjoy a delicious dinner, and dance the night away in a perfectly sweet holiday experience. The night begins with a warm welcome from our beloved Festival Costume Characters, setting the tone for an enchanting evening.

Adding to the festive fun, Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse will present excerpts from their Holiday Theater Musical Series, "Junie B. Jones - Jingle Bells, Batman Smells." Join Junie B. as she prepares for the holiday Sing-Along and Secret Santa gift exchange at her school. Things don’t go quite as planned when a tattletale crosses her path, but leave it to Junie B. to come up with a plan that will bring plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments. Based on the beloved book series by Barbara Park, this hilarious and endearing tale is sure to delight guests of all ages!

Rockin' around Celebrities, Kick’ in off your holiday, Raffles sit where you can see, having fun throughout the day, Rockin' around Celebrities, Have a glass or two champagne, Later you’ll buy some pumpkin pie, while waiters are caroling, You will get a joyful feeling when you hear, Voices singing, let's be jolly, as we support the ARTS by golly!

Help raise money for the arts while having a wild and crazy time! Celebrity Lunch is THE place to be the day before Thanksgiving. Local Celebrities will become waiters for a day and entertain guests by showcasing their outrageous and wacky talents for tips. Give any size donation to challenge your waiter to perform in front of the whole crowd! Music, fun, and A LOT of laughter is had by all who attend. This event is the perfect opportunity to network with business professionals and rub elbows with some of the most famous people in the Quad Cities! Excellent raffles, a wine & whiskey pull, as well as holiday items and pies will be sold.

Special Event - Silent Disco

Festival is going after-hours for an unforgettable silent disco experience! Grab a wireless headset (ID required) and get ready to dance the night away as three live DJs compete for your attention. With just a flip of a switch, you can choose between three different music genres, and your headset will light up in an LED color that matches your DJ. Dance alongside others listening to the same channel or switch things up anytime!

It’s the ultimate social party—turn the volume down or take off your headphones when you want to chat with friends without shouting over loud music. It’s all about having fun, dancing to your own beat, and connecting with others! A cash bar will keep the party going, and feel free to bring your own glow-in-the-dark accessories to light up the night.
