PIERRE, S.D. - On July 1, 2025, Governor Larry Rhoden ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in honor of former state legislator Steve Hickey. He represented Minnehaha County in the South Dakota State House of Representatives from 2011-2015.
