LINCOLN, NE - Governor Jim Pillen has ordered that all U.S. and Nebraska flags be flown at half-staff on Thursday, May 15 for Peace Officers Memorial Day. This annual observance honors federal, state and local law enforcement officers who have lost their lives or were injured in the line of duty. Peace Officers Memorial Day falls during National Police Week.

Flags are to be flown at half-staff from dawn until sunset tomorrow.
