On Oct 17th, the Florida Democratic Party launched a new digital ad, ‘Gone Too Far’ narrated by former Congressman Allen Boyd Jr.

The new ad highlights Florida’s property insurance crisis as the state recovers from its second major hurricane and the extreme laws passed by the Republican-controlled legislature that have gone too far.

The new digital ad will run until Election Day and reach non-party affiliated voters, who represent nearly 3.6 million registered voters in Florida. “NPAs are the fastest growing electorate in the state and we’re talking to them directly,” said Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried. “Voters are rejecting extremism and this ad speaks to the new and unlikely coalition of voters we need to win in November.”

Recent polls show Kamala Harris with a major lead among independent voters in Florida, with Harris leading Trump by a whopping 14% among NPA voters in the Sunshine State. It comes as big-time Florida Republican leaders and former campaign operatives announced their endorsement of Harris earlier this week.

In the final weeks of this campaign, the Florida Democratic Party is ramping up efforts to engage Democrats, Republicans and Independents to break the supermajority, send Debbie Mucarsel-Powell to the U.S. Senate and elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in November.
