2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m: Free Spirit Sled Dog Demo at Sheehan Park Centrals
Join us in watching fun demonstrations by Free Spirit Siberian Rescue of how sled dogs do their thing This event is Free, and demonstrations will happen every hour
5:00 p.m - 7:30 p.m: Candle Lit Snowshoe Hike at Sheehan Park
Join us for this Free, family friendly event to explore the trails of Sheehan Park in the winter
Hike/Walk/Snowshoe OR bike the trails
Trails will be lit to guide your way. After you hike, warm up by our fire pit while sipping hot cocoa. If snow is present, snowshoeing is preferred. There will be a limited amount of snowshoes available to use Free of charge on the trails.
Fat Tire Bikes are required if biking the trails. Bikers need to wear a helmet and headlamp when biking.

9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m: Ice Carving Contest at Cannery Square
Watch ice carving artists turn blocks of ice into winter masterpieces
Professional ice carvers will be working on their creations in Cannery Square starting at 9 am and finishing around 3 pm.
A judges panel will evaluate each carving at 3:00 p.m
11:00 a.m: Hibernation Hustle at Downtown Sun Prairie
Join us for the 4th Annual Hibernation Hustle fun run/walk and kids’ dash supporting the Boys & Girls Club
Jimmy the Groundhog is looking forward to Sun Prairie’s 75th Groundhog Day Prognostication on February 2nd in Cannery Square. He is so excited that he wants to kick things off early with the Hibernation Hustle.

12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m: Groundhog Open at Downtown Sun Prairie
4:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Night at the Ice Rink at Stoneridge Estates Park
The ice rink at Stoneridge Estates Park will be open all weekend, but there will be lots going on at the rink on Saturday night
Join us for a Free night skate while we play music, give out glow sticks, and serve hot cocoa and s'mores
Working Draft will be there serving local brews in the winter biergarden Enjoy a beverage next to a fire pit or heater.

Join us for a pancake breakfast with Jimmy the Groundhog! Uncle Pancake will be tossing pancakes for people to catch.
12:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m: Cardboard Sled Classic at Carriage Hills Park
The Cardboard Sled Classic is an opportunity for families and groups to create their own cardboard sled creations and race them down the sledding hill at Carriage Hills Park to compete for prizes in categories like best time and best design.
2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m: Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides through Sheehan Park at Sheehan Park Central

6:30 p.m - 8:30 p.m: Winter Puzzle Contest at Westside Community Service Building (2598 West Main St.)
Participate in a contest with other puzzlers to see who can complete a 500 piece puzzle the fastest and win prizes.
9:30 a.m - 8:30 p.m: Puzzle-A-Thon at Sun Prairie Public Library
We're hosting an all day Puzzle-a-Thon on National Puzzle Day as a part of Frozen Fun Prairie Fest! We will be challenging community members of all ages to stop by to help complete a puzzle, whether it be big or small. We'll be offering beverages, entertainment and prize drawings while community members work on a variety of puzzles, including jigsaw, crossword and sudoku. The Friends of the Library will also be selling puzzles. This program is free and open to all. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Sun Prairie Public Library and the Sun Prairie Public Library Foundation.
