Join the Advisory Council of Girls on The Run Montgomery County at FilmFest on February 29, 2024!

GOTR FilmFest is a night of independent short films celebrating girls and women. It will also provide the opportunity for the community to learn more about Girls on the Run and its impact.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Girls on the Run Montgomery County, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

Feature Presentation:

This year's FilmFest includes three inspiring films from Sima Academy: India's Wushu Warrior, Free To Care, and Girls Like Us. Our fourth film feature is titled Gnarly in Pink and has been screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. Each film highlights the strength and power of girls and women and the impact they make in the world when they set their mind to achieve a goal. For more information on the films, visit our website.

6:30 PM - Doors Open

Check-in table is open and raffle prizes are available for viewing. Additional raffle prize tickets and 50/50 tickets are available for purchase. Refreshments are served during this time.

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Feature Presentation

GOTR MoCo presents a series of films showcasing the power of girls and women. Guests will also hear from a few speakers sharing their experiences with GOTR and the impact its programs have made on their lives.
