The Stratford Library, 2203 Main Street in Stratford, Connecticut will be participating in "Giving Tuesday" on Tuesday, November 28th. This is a chance to step away from the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday and help the Library continue its mission to empower and enrich its diverse community.

According to Library Director Sheri Szymanski, "I encourage all Stratford residents to support Giving Tuesday. Why not kick off the season of giving and generosity with a donation of any size to your Stratford Library? Help us keep providing our town with unique programs, fantastic books and movies, and tech help for all!"

Each contribution ($10, $20, $50) can make an impact. Patrons can donate directly online by visiting the Stratford Library at: http://stratfordlibrary.org/support/

Funds raised on "Giving Tuesday" will be used by the Library for its collections, programming and technology.
