Baton Rouge, LA - On March 11, 2025, Governor Landry signed an Executive Order that prohibits automatic extensions of state leased buildings. All agency heads will now be required to send justification for extensions, amendments, or new leases to the Division of Administration for approval. Prohibiting automatic extensions of state-leased buildings, ensures that all lease-related decisions undergo thorough review. Executive order
