TALLAHASSEE, FL - On June 9, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Arthur “Chip” Diehl III and Gary Harrod to the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority.

Arthur “Chip” Diehl III

Diehl is the Managing Director for Diehl & Associates. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, receiving the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit Medal, and retiring with the rank of Brigadier General. Active in his community, Diehl is currently appointed to the Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees and the Florida Defense Support Commission. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the United States Air Force Academy and his master’s degree in systems management from the University of Southern California.

Gary Harrod

Harrod is the Chief Executive Officer of Harrod Properties, Inc. A veteran of the Florida and Georgia National Guard, he is a member of the Bank of Tampa Board of Directors and previously served as a member of the University of Tampa Board of Trustees. Harrod earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University.
