From: Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee SandersLITTLE ROCK, AR - Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders today received a report from the AI and Analytics Center of Excellence outlining recommended policies and programs to adopt artificial intelligence across Arkansas state government.
Governor Sanders launched the working group in June to study and offer recommendations for the safe use of artificial intelligence (AI) within Arkansas state government. The AI and Analytics Center of Excellence is focused on protecting data, improving government services, and preparing Arkansas for the future of artificial intelligence in government and the workforce.
“We are already seeing AI’s influence across many industries in America. Arkansas needs to protect its citizens from the misuse of AI while weighing the technology’s potential benefits to government efficiency through reduced costs and strengthened services,” said Governor Sanders. “I’m grateful to all the stakeholders who participated in this working group, and I look forward to reviewing their recommendations.”
