The 2024-2025 Springfield Symphony Orchestra season is set to begin on October 19, 2024, with New England Reverie at 7:30 pm. This love letter to New England marks Maestra Mei-Ann Chen's debut as the SSO's new Artistic Advisor. Featuring the works of New England natives George Whitefield Chadwick and Amy Beach as well as Beethoven's Symphony #5, a critical piece in the history of Western music, this concert is the perfect welcome to fall in our wonderful city.

Musical Petting Zoo

Our Musical Petting Zoo is on the move! We enjoyed sharing our recent MPZ with Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Services. Children and their families had a chance to interact with our display of instruments, learn about the fun of becoming a musician, and even jam out with Boomer, the Springfield Thunderbirds mascot!
