“Scarecrow City” is making its triumphant return this October! After about a decade long hiatus the downtown will once more be lined with these fun festive Fall fabrications. Scarecrows will be found in store windows and doorways, on benches, lamp posts, inside and outside public places all over downtown. They will all be competing for the People’s Choice award, voted for by the public. Ballots may be cast (as many and as often as you like!) during business hours at The Rusticators Emporium for yo­ur People’s Choice favorite(s). Don’t forget to bring your dimes in order to vote all proceeds support the Fall Festival!

Scarecrow setups will start Friday, September 27th, and will all be removed by Sunday, November 3rd.

Be on the lookout for other Autumn activities throughout the month, including on Saturday, October 19th where you’ll find face painting, spooky storytelling and more! If you are a business who would like to host an activity or simply provide space, let us know we’ll assist with coordination!
