- Any rescheduled or cancelled tickets will be made available for purchase to the general public. Limited quantity expected.

The AASLH Awards

Over the summer, Heritage Museums & Gardens was honored to announce that it had been awarded the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) distinguished Award of Excellence for its exceptional special project “Creating Cape Cod.” This project encompassed an exhibit, catalog, and eleven oral history videos. This award is the most prestigious recognition for achievement in the preservation and interpretation of state and local history.

Heritage’s Director of Collections & Exhibitions, Jennifer Madden, recently had the opportunity to travel to Mobile, Alabama, for the awards ceremony. We send our special thanks to our hosts in Mobile, and to the AASLH for continuing to promote and celebrate the stories of our cities, regions, and towns.
