Locks 101 Workshop

The next #ToolLibraryAlbany workshop will be on Saturday, April 1st, 12 pm-1.30 pm.  In this introductory class led by Dave West, learn how to fit a new lockset on an old door - featuring a door donated by our very own Parts Warehouse!

Learn about the tools and techniques you will need to complete this job, and about the different locks available.

Please note, spaces are limited and sign-up is required.

There is also an option to donate if you're able to (we have a suggested donation of $5-$10, this helps us provide materials and give the presenter a stipend for their time).

Garden and Seed Swap with Us!

At the West Hill Refugee Center 

Saturday 25th we will be hosting our next gardening workshop/seed swap with Richard Daley. This time we will be at The West Hill Refugee Welcome Center which is graciously hosting us for the first time!

This organization "help refugees with their long-term transition and relocation to the City's West Hill Neighborhood.  The Corporation strives to reduce Neighborhood abandoned and vacant buildings while providing opportunities and resources for globally homeless people."

Come and meet some people from the neighborhood, discuss gardening tips, swap some seeds, and have fun! Richard Daley will also be doing a presentation on basic gardening tips for the season.
