The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor JB Pritzker that all person or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff in honor and remembrance of 27-year-old Firefighter Recruit Cristian Medrano, 27, of the Aurora Fire Department who died in the line of duty on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Please lower the United States flags and the State flags at all buildings occupied by your agency's personnel from:

Sunrise on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 to Sundown on Friday, May 24, 2024
