The Board of Trustees of the Hopewell Harvest Fair is pleased to announce the winner of the annual Cover Art Contest. Congratulations to Susan Kleinschmidt, winner of this year’s Cover Art Contest! Her stunning depiction of the Hopewell gazebo-expertly painted on wood-captured the judges’ attention. A retired nurse and lifelong artist, Susan continues to express her creativity through her unique work with wood and paint. She has been awarded a $250 prize for her winning entry.

Her work will be featured on the much awaited Hopewell Harvest Fair Almanac, which will be available locally in late August. Heartfelt thank you to all the talented artists who participated in this year’s contest.

The Harvest Fair returns again to the grounds of Hopewell Elementary School on Saturday September 20 from 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM. It’s a cherished local tradition, attracting fair-goers from all over the area to enjoy a day of old-fashioned fun, while raising funds for local non-profits.

Leading Sponsors of the 2025 Fair are: Morehouse Engineering, Capital Health and TechNeed providing our tents and drinking water station (bring your refillable bottles!); Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart providing one of the popular giant Inflatables; and, dandelion wishes sponsoring Pezz Glassworks who will demonstrate the amazing art of glassblowing.

The Hopewell Harvest Fair welcomes local businesses and organizations to lend their support to the Fair and our Community Grand Program! Visit our website for special sponsorship opportunities available this year.

Harvest Fair Board President, Scott Fulmer, stated: “The Board and I are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, and for the dedication of our volunteers who bring this event to life year after year! For 2025 we are featuring MORE food, MORE contests, and MORE fun! Come to the Fair to meet local business owners and nonprofit groups in our Town Square, buy fresh produce from local farmers, shop handmade goods at Crafters’ Court, or enter one of our many contests. Children’s activities include pony rides, a petting zoo, scarecrow building, and TONS of games! Groove to a fantastic lineup of live musicians, including the Hopewell Valley Marching Black & Gold. There is truly something for everyone.”

The Fair bolsters community spirit during the event as well as throughout the year, by providing scholarships for local students and grants for nonprofit organizations.
