From: Icicle Creek Center for the ArtsWe are so excited to launch a new series of day camps for all types of young and aspiring artists!
We believe the arts are for everyone, so we want these camps to be accessible to all the students who live in North Central Washington. With different classes, a variety of topics targeted at different ages, and a tiered tuition system, there is something for everyone. We’re thrilled to welcome more local kids to our campus than ever before!
THE SCIENCE IN ART
June 17-21
4th-9th Grade
Delve into various mediums including, drawing, painting, sculpture, natural plant dyes, and other arts immersed in a natural setting.
VOCAL JAZZ & RHYTHM SECTION CAMP
July 15-19
9th-12th Grade
Campers will explore subjects like melodic phrasing, ensemble work, soloing, improvisation, musicianship, theory, ear training, jazz history, active listening, and more.
MUSIC TECH CAMP
July 15-19
July 29-August 2
9th-12th Grade
Students will explore music recording basics and get hands-on experience setting up recording sessions, mic'ing up a band, mixing, lighting, and more.
STORYTELLING BEYOND THE PAGE

7th-10th Grade
Not all stories live in books - become a storyteller through art! Campers dig into the elements and traditions of storytelling and then create new works in multiple disciplines.
ICICLE CREEK KIDS

A camp specially designed to inspire kids to move, create, and explore art, music, and the possibilities around them.
WRI CREATIVITY CAMP
July 29-August 2
1st-3rd Grade
Hosted in partnership with Wenatchee River Institute. Campers will explore their creativity as they connect with the natural world! The week will include music, movement, crafts, games, arts, and more.
ACTING CAMP
August 5-9
Age 11-18
Campers will have the opportunity to explore acting, Shakespeare, playwriting, monologues, scene study, movement and voice for the actor within their own groups of similar age.
MUSICAL THEATER CAMP
August 12-16
Age 11-18
Young musical theater performers will learn to become triple threats of the stage as they work with inspiring professionals in each discipline.
