MADISON, Wis. — On Oct 2nd, the GazetteXtra reported on Bryan Steil’s long record of voting against legislation that would improve the lives of working Wisconsinites. Bryan Steil voted three times against bipartisan legislation that would lower prescription drug prices and cap the price of life-saving insulin to $35 a month for seniors in the 1st Congressional District.
“The congressional record doesn’t lie: Bryan Steil has repeatedly voted against bringing down costs and investing in the future of our state,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Deputy Communications Director Haley McCoy. “Unlike Bryan Steil, who puts corporate interests above his constituents, Peter Barca will be a champion for lower drug costs and will protect Wisconsinites’ earned benefits like Social Security and Medicare.”
