Doug Key is a nationally touring comedian, headliner, and founder of the Rogue Island Comedy Festival. You may have seen him in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, or heard his #1 iTunes comedy album Mother of the Year. Now’s your chance to learn directly from him!

Doug will also share expert tips on crafting a strong comedy festival submission tape — drawing from years of experience reviewing thousands of them. Learn what stands out, what to avoid, and how to set yourself apart.

This interactive workshop is open to performers of all experience levels. Whether you’re new to the mic or a festival veteran, you’ll leave inspired and armed with new tools.

We’re closing out the July Impromptu Comedy Festival with a true headliner—Doug Key!

Doug’s debut special Mother of the Year premiered on Mark Normand’s YouTube channel and shot to the top of the comedy charts. He’s toured across Europe with Normand, been featured on Comedy Central, MTV, and VH1, and even appeared in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the Oscar-nominated A Complete Unknown.

Now, he brings his razor-sharp storytelling and laid-back charm to Auburn for a Saturday night blowout you won’t want to miss.
