The Old Fashioned Band Concert and Ice Cream Social will feature the International Music Camp staff and faculty band performing a broad range of works including marches, classic works for band, popular melodies and more! We promise that this concert will dazzle the listener’s imagination and appreciation of good music in an informal atmosphere of an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social. Ice cream is sponsored by Pride Dairy of Bottineau.

Albina Khaliapova, DMA
Pianist and educator Dr. Albina Khaliapova is a soloist and chamber musician. Recipient of the Mary Sue Chamber Music Scholarship and Robinson Piano Scholarship, Dr. Khaliapova won a number of international and local competitions in Europe and the United States, including the International Keyboard Odyssiad and Festival (Colorado), International Music Competition ‘Citta Di Barletta’ (Italy), International Competition ‘Music Without Limits’ (Lithuania), and International Competition ‘Art of the 21st Century’ (Ukraine).
Born into a musical family, Albina developed an acute musical sensitivity and a natural aptitude for the piano. Influenced by her mother, who is a piano teacher, she started her first music lessons at home at the age of four. By the age of seven, she was already admitted to the Secondary Special Musical School in Ufa, Russia, where she made her solo debut with an orchestra. After graduation with honors from SSMS, Albina was admitted to study in the class of internationally renowned pianist Sergei Dukachev at Ufa State Academy of Arts.
EduardTeregulov, DMA
Russian-born cellist Eduard Teregulov is a soloist, chamber performer, and cello instructor. Winner of the Youth String Competition in Magnitogorsk, Russia at the age of 14, as well as of the International competition “Citta Di Barletta” in Italy and NOLA Chamber Fest in the United States, he enjoys his career as a contemporary and classical cellist. Member of Homegrown New Music Ensemble and Constantinides New Music Ensemble, Dr. Teregulov also performs as a soloist and a member of a duo with his wife, pianist Dr. Albina Khaliapova. Besides performing traditional repertoire, Eduard is a big advocate for new music. He actively collaborates with living composers from the United States and around the world on commissioning and performing new works for cello and chamber groups.

Evie Andrus
Evie Andrus has been a performer for more than 30 years starting with her family band, Family Ties. She has toured extensively around the South and Midwest as well as some select appearances overseas. Andrus is a graduate of the East TN State University Bluegrass, Old Time and County Music Program and is a current graduate student at University of Tennessee in Knoxville studying Musicology. Andrus’ work has been featured on HBO, American Ninja Warrior and in backing orchestras for Foreigner and Il Divo. Andrus also has worked as a performer at the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud as well as Dollywood Amusement Park. She is a co-founder and current President of the East TN Bluegrass Association. Andrus released an album of original tunes in May 2022, Evie’s Great Adventure. Other recorded works include: Barefoot Sanctuary’s “Songs for My Father” and the self-titled Hance & Andrus.
