BACA In Bloom
August 11-13
The Branford Arts & Cultural Alliance, BACA, and the Branford Garden Club are joining their creative forces in an event on August 11-13.
BACA In Bloom, will take place in the gallery on 1004 Main St, across from the Branford green. Fifteen designers will be displaying floral arrangements that take their inspiration from fifteen works of art displayed in the gallery. The theme is to suggest the synergy between art forms, in this case, floral and paintings. The arrangements will be testaments to the emotional impact that a work of art is capable of creating for the viewer.
The Branford Garden Club and BACA have long sought opportunities to create events that reinforce our belief in the beauty that exists in nature and the creative forces that can transform nature into works of art.
This will be a unique opportunity for these art forms to collaborate in order to create a singular artistic experience.
The show will take place on Saturday, August 12 from 10 to 5, and Sunday, August 13 from 12 to 4. There will be a gala reception on Friday, August 11 from 5 to 7.
