From: Kentucky Freedom FestCelebrate Independence Day in Murray, Kentucky, June 30-4 with Freedom Fest! Family fun and patriotic spirit awaits you during this jam-packed weekend of events. The FNB Bank Freedom Fest Parade marches down Main Street at 9:30 am, on July 4, as locals and visitors line the streets. Freedom Fest goes out with a bang during everyone's favorite event, The Murray Bank Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:00 pm.

6:00 - 8:00pm: Murray Art Guild Summer Party | at Murray Art Guild
Join the MAG for food & drinks (for purchase), ice cream, live music, outdoor demos and hands-on projects for kids to make this a fun & lively kick-off to MAG’s membership drive!
Saturday, July 1, 2023
7:00am - Noon: Downtown Farmers Market | at Downtown Court Square
2:00 pm - Cruise In Car Show | Downtown Court Square
Enjoy the summer afternoon downtown by “cruising” through the Cruise In Car Show! Cars that register will be entered to win door prizes & the first 50 cars receive a dash plate. Contact the Calloway County Tourism office for additional information - 270.713.0110
4:00pm: Summer Concert Series | Downtown Court Square
Calloway County Tourism Commission is sponsoring this FREE concert, downtown with opening guest, Olivia Faye, followed by Smith & Wesley, Dallas Remington. Bring your lawn chairs snacks - it will be a fun evening!

7:00am: Veteran's Remembrance Ceremony | at Chestnut Park
7:00am - 9:30am: Gary Taylor Memorial Breakfast | First Methodist Church
Boy Scout Troop 45 will be hosting the annual fundraiser breakfast before the parade! Tickets will be $10 at the door ($5/kid, 12 & under); To-go options will be available.
8:45 am - the Main Street Mile by All Lasered Up | Downtown Parade Route
The Main Street Mile is BACK!!!! Registration beginS 7:30 am @ US Bank, running down the parade route toward the downtown square. If you don’t feel like running down the stretch, grab your chairs and set up early to cheer on the runners!

9:30am: FNB Freedom Fest Parade | The parade route begins at 10th St. & Memorial Baptist Church, and rolls down Main Street, ending at Cherry St.
6:30pm: MSU Town & Gown Community Band and Chorus | Lovett Lawn
Grab chairs, blankets and snacks and listen to patriotic music before the fireworks.
9:00 pm: The Murray Bank Fireworks Extravaganza
The fireworks can be viewed anywhere along HWY 641 North near Kroger, Walmart or the Chamber of Commerce
