Friday activities will be at the Union County Senior Center, 1504 North Albany, La Grande.

6:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m
Register or check in and receive your passport with information directing you to staffed birding stations and other "birdy" areas.
Register for field trips if you haven’t done so already online.

Enjoy a guest speaker (this year it is Cathy Nowak who will talk about her work with
Sandhill Cranes), music and snacks, pick-up some Friends of Ladd Marsh merchandise,and chat with friends.

4:45 a.m: Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area opens to public access with passport; see the map at the following link for details - Ladd Marsh Bird Festival.
6:00 a.m: Register at the Festival Information Trailer in the Tule Lake Public Access Area on Peach Road. Register for available spaces on field trips.
6:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m: Staffed Birding Stations open.
8:00 a.m: Field trip at Growiser on Pumpkin Ridge starts. Participants travel to the site on their own, so plan on leaving La Grande by 7:30 am. Directions here: Growiser
12:00 p.m: Taking the kids to school field trip leaves Station 5; see Ladd Marsh Bird Festival map.
12:00 p.m: Registration closes.
8:45 p.m: Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area closes to public access.

6:30 a.m - Birds and Botany of the Pondera Pine Forest - UC Senior Center
6:30 a.m - Birding for Beginners - UC Senior Center
6:30 a.m - Grande Ronde Valley Hotspots - Peach Road Registration Area
8:00 a.m - Growiser - participants driver on their own to starting point; see Growiser.
9:00 a.m - Taking the kids to school - Station 5
10:30 am Rhinehart Canyon for Afternooners - UC Senior Center

4:45 a.m: Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area opens to public access with passport.
8:45 p.m: Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area closes to public access
