Please join us for the 2023 Aquafest Children's Parade! This Fun and Free event sponsored by The Lake Stevens Education Foundation and Sunnyside Preschool is open to everyone. Bikes, scooters, strollers. wagons, powerwheels, etc. are welcome. Parade staging begins at 5pm, parade starts at 6pm. Pre-registration will be available soon. Day of registration is also okay (although goodie bags guaranteed only for pre-registered participants)

Aquafest 3on3 Basketball
Join in Lake Stevens WA for the return of Aquafest 3on3! Gear up for our 2 day (4 game guarantee) tournament with teams from all over the state. Bring your swimsuits, our courts are a few short steps from the waterfront of North Cove park. During play you will be submersed in all festival sights, sounds, smells and activities. You will not want to miss this beautiful location and all the Summer fun.

6:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m: Firefighter’s Pancake Breakfast at Fire Station 81 (map)
Firefighters will be serving up pancakes, eggs and ham hot off the grill. Coffee and orange juice will also be available. The cost for breakfast is simply a donation, and proceeds will go towards the Fire 7 Foundation in support of the community and fire service family during times of need.
7:00 a.m - 10:00 a.m: Waterski Tournament
Welcome to one of the most popular events at Aquafest!
The waterski tournament is brought to you by the Lake Stevens Waterski Club (LSWSC) along with a host of generous sponsors.
The competition begins at 7am, and can be viewed from all around the lake.
10:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m: Try Rowing
Back again by popular demand
Try Rowing, with Lake Stevens Rowing Club, provides an opportunity for adult sized/minded individuals (5’ min height, able to lift 40 # to shoulders).
You will start by learning proper body sequencing techniques on an ergometer (rowing machine) and, if weather permits, move to an on the water class where adding the correct use of oar blades will get your team boat moving across the waters of North Cove and back.
11:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m: Lake Stevens Community Band
The Lake Stevens Community Band is a 45-piece horn band that was started in 2021. In there first year they performed at the Farmers Market, Light up Lake Stevens, Harvest Fest and Winter Fest. Their concerts are always free and family friendly.
12:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m: Sunday Speedtrap
Sunday Speedtrap will be roving the Aquafest Grounds.. on Saturday from noon to 5pm!
Sunday Speedtrap performs the “Sing Along Songs of the Decades” show featuring the #1 billboard hits of the 60’s to today.
12:00 p.m - 12:30 p.m: Diaper Derby
Parents, Start Your Engines
Your little one will go head-to-head with other crawlers as they race across the course to the finish line.
1:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m: Grande Parade by ACE Hardware
Let’s have a Grand Olde Time on Main Street, Lake Stevens
The Grande Parade is an Aquafest favorite! It is one of the largest summer parades in the Pacific Northwest. The parade begins at 1pm and is sure to be good, old fashioned, home town fun. The parade will start on Hartford, adjacent to the Fire Station, and make its way through Main Street, so come early to find your seat.

It is time once again for the Aquafest Boat Parade. Let’s get the boats decorated in this year’s Aquafest theme is Welcome Back, so let’s think 70’s theme. Remember to bring treats to toss at the local docks as you tour Lake Stevens. We highly recommend you bag your treats so if they don’t make the dock they can be easily retrieved from the water.
4:15 p.m - 5:15 p.m: Souled Out

5:30 p.m - 6:45 p.m: Janis Lives
Witness the closest thing you will see to a live Janis Joplin concert! You will not want to miss this extraordinary celebration of a rock-n-roll legend!

7:00 p.m - 8:15 p.m: Mainstreet: Tribute to Bob Seger
Mainstreet offers a realistic journey across Bob Seger’s greatest songwriting years and through Steve Kelly’s dynamic showmanship and vocal intensity brings the excitement, energy and rockin good time of a live Bob Seger concert to the stage.
8:30 p.m - 10:00 p.m: Cherry Cherry: Tribute to Neil Diamond

This year's car show is a bonanza of cars. Come with our car after a cruise around the lake. Set up and show off your car. Talk with other like minded car enthusiasts and enjoy the show.
Registration Fee: $25 (Includes 1 T-Shirt)
T-Shirts available at the event for $20.00/each
Judging is done by participants, sponsors, and show staff judges
Trophies will be awarded at approximately 2pm
10:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m: K9’s in Action - Community Engagement Event
North Cove Park Great Lawn
Bring the kids!! Arrive at North Cove Park's grassy area by 10am to watch the action as a few Snohomish County K9 Deputies take their amazing K9 Officers through training exercises, learn about their unique abilities, take a selfie wearing the apprehension arm or sitting in a K9 vehicle. There will be treats for kids and samples of FurMissile coffee for their adults. This is a family friendly event.
11:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m: Family Fun Fest
Free activities, games, and prizes for children up to 12
Bingo, arts and crafts activities, books, interactive games, prizes and giveaways

11:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m: Candy and Coins scavenger hunt in the Bubbles (search for prizes in the grass while running through clouds of big bubbles, hunts will be broken down by age groups)
1:00 p.m: Pizza Eating contest sponsored by Sahara Pizza. Registration begins at 12:00 at the information booth until full. Ages 4-12 with signed parent waiver and valid ID.
12:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m: Bounce House
12:00 p.m - 12:30 p.m: GroundScore
GroundScore is a local band from Seattle, Washington made up of juniors at Shorecrest high school. The band has played several school and community functions, including block parties and talent shows. They aspire to one-day play arenas and become metal legends, but for now, they are writing, and playing local events hoping one day, to be up there in the hall of fame.
1:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m: School of Rock Seattle
Seattle School of Rock brings the House band back to Aquafest 2023 for another amazing performance.
2:00 p.m - 2:30 p.m: Watermelon Eating Contest
Contestants will compete against each other at the same time. The object is to finish a set amount of watermelon, within the 3-minute time limit. At the end of the time limit the person that eats the most watermelon will be declared the winner.
2:30 p.m - 3:30 p.m: The Royals
The Royals are a 7-piece modern ensemble that plays a variety of genres spanning funk, jazz, and soul.
With their experience performing together ever since middle school, they are sure to bring a lively and energetic performance.
