Door-to-Door Scam

The Southwestern Agency on Aging and State Unit on Aging reports an individual, who is not affiliated with the agency is posing as their representative, and going door to door to encourage seniors to purchase funeral contracts and requesting personal information including their Medicare information. Please exercise caution. Refusing to open the door to anyone you don't know is the best way to avoid door-knocking scams.
