Rosie the Riveter

Wednesday, March 29, 1 pm, free

Rosie the Riveter became an iconic image of working women during World War II. Through this presentation by the Connecticut Historical Society we'll hear real-life accounts of Connecticut women who worked for victory in the war.

Yoga - Just the Basics

Learn to sit and stand in ways that protect your spine and your joints and, yes, to balance on one leg like a true yogi. Chairs provided for help balancing.

Beginning Canasta

Tuesdays, March 28 - April 18

2 - 4 p.m., $60

Learn how to play this fun and challenging game. Instructor Geri Rhoades will teach you how to meld, talon and make canastas.

By appointment, no walk-ins.

Dick Neville, a certified Medicare counselor, provides objective, free, person-centered assistance so Medicare recipients can make informed choices about their benefits. Call to make an appointment: 203-594-3620.

11 am - noon
