From: MOAH:CEDAR Center for the ArtsClosing event Sunday for Dani Dodge: Prime and some reviews!
It’s not too late! Sunday, Jan. 22, is the final day of Dani Dodge:PRIME at MOAH:Cedar. Come be part of the interactive exhibition and enjoy a short artist talk at MOAH:CEDAR from 2 to 3 p.m. followed by reception with food and drinks at the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Both in Lancaster, Calif. I would love to hang out with you!
You can RSVP here!
In Prime Peace, I created a maze within the museum that reflected the peace I found at the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve during my residency there. I asked visitors to write down where they find peace, and add it to the room-sized installation. More than 100 people did. What will you write?

“Dodge reminds us that while we are part of the natural world (and creatures inhabiting it ourselves), we are bringing unnatural and lasting changes, and are likewise changed by the world around us which we believe we control.”

In addition to the interactive installation, there is a video installation, paintings, paintings over photography, sculpture, and sound art. Please join me for the closing event Sunday!
