Give Local provides our last big push this year to support Litchfield Jazz Campers with financial need. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to meet our need-based scholarship requests.

Litchfield Jazz Camp (LJC) has been educating some 300 students every summer since 1997, 20% of whom receive need-based scholarships.

LJC is a non-competitive program taught by an all-star faculty. Many of our campers garner college scholarships, go on to professional careers, and return to us to teach and perform.  More and more now, they win GRAMMY and other awards!

So far we have received 21 requests for aid, with many more to come.

We want to make the Litchfield experience accessible to ALL students. So we offer both full and partial scholarships based on financial need. With the help of people like you we are proud to say, we have not turned away a single student in need in all our 29 years!!
