From: Literary Festival TrinidadGET LIT! Ignite Your Literary Soul Literary Festival
Each year, the Corazón de Trinidad Creative District brings a group of professional writers to lead writing workshops where they share their art, insight, and literary experience with creative writing.
This year our literary festival is focused on exploring various forms and genres. Our goal is to ignite your creative fire.
Festival events will include open mics for writers to share their work and workshops for all levels. To support our local youth, we bring writers into our schools to work with youth at zero cost to the school. Additionally, all writing festival workshops are free for students of any age.
This year we are adding a fundraising dinner that will feature presentations and a silent auction. The dinner will fund Corazón de Trinidad Creative District operations and events at large. The goal of the creative district is to economically support local creative industries. Our mission is to assist local artists and arts organizations, to host free events for the public, to create an artist membership program and to provide membership benefits.
