Lorain Winterfest is truly a "Hometown Celebration"! Many individual events throughout the downtown area make up the annual festival.

Location: 9th St. to Veterans’ Park

4:30pm: Lorain Winterfest Parade

After a great event in last year, we are proud to announce that on Saturday November 26, 2022, the parade will return with Santa arriving to kick off the Holiday season’s events.

The parade will form at 4 p.m. at 9th Street and kick off at 4:30. Parade route will be from 9th St. to Veterans’ Park.

Veteran's Park in downtown Lorain is a major location for the Lorain Winterfest celebration. Veteran's Park is where the Lorain Winterfest Parade ends and the entertainment begins! The official Tree Lighting, Christmas Carols, and more can be found here.

Lorain County Community College at City Center is a hub of entertainment during Lorain Winterfest providing a flurry of activities for kids and their families.

5 - 9 pm: International Trees and Trains

Location: Black River Landing

6pm-9pm: Santa At The North Pole

Come and see Santa and his Reindeer at "The North Pole" at Black River Landing across from the Transportation Center. He will be there during Winterfest on November 26th from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Lorain's Caboose Holiday Lights

Lorain's Caboose C-3855. an actual piece of Lorain's railroad history, is currently being restored and preserved and will soon take its place next to The Black River Transportation Center. For Lorain Winterfest and the holiday season The Caboose Committee lights up C-3855 with hundreds of beautiful lights.
