6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Dairy Cattle may arrive (Barns 2&3 - as assigned). All Dairy Cattle must be in the barn by 3:00 p.m.

7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Breeding Sheep and Market lambs may arrive (4-H building). All sheep must be in the barn by 2:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Exhibition Poultry Check-In (REV Center). All Exhibition Poultry must be in barn by 1:00 p.m.

9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Sign up for Exhibition Poultry Showmanship

11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Check Breeding Sheep and Market Lamb entries and pay entry fees in 4-H Building.

11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Sign-up for LSPA/LCES Sheep Showmanship (4-H Building office)

11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Scales open for weighing and classifying Market Lambs

11:30 am - 3:00 pm Check in Miniature Cattle entries and pay entry fee (Vendor rooms)
No beef cattle will be allowed to enter barns 1-6 until 2:00 pm

8:00 am Judge Beefmaster followed by Angus, Charolais, AOB Brahman Main Arena. Breed Association showmanship’s after judging is complete in main arena

8:00 am Top 5 Beef Premier Exhibitors will be awarded in the Main Arena.

8:00 am Judge Braford followed by Braford Base, Commercial Heifers Back Arena. Breed Association showmanship’s after judging is complete in back arena.

9:00 a.m. Judge LPPA/LCES Swine Showmanship, Judge Market Hog Parish Group 30 minutes after the conclusion of Swine Showmanship

Premier Swine Exhibitor Skill-a-thon (or at the end of Intermediate Champion Showmanship)
Weigh Market Steers 3:00 pm main arena. Weigh cards must be turned in 2 hours from the time the scale opens to Vendor room 1.

8:00 a.m. Judge Market Hogs (Duroc, Hampshire, Yorkshire, Berkshire, AOB, Barrows). Breed Champions will be selected at the end of each breed show. (Announce top 5 Premier Exhibitors at the conclusion of Swine Show)

10:00 a.m. Premier Swine Exhibitor Interviews

8:00 am Judge Red Brahman followed by Santa Gertrudis, Gray Brahman Main Arena. Breed Association showmanship’s after judging is complete in main arena.

8:00 am Judge Simmental followed by Simbrah, Hereford, AOB Non - Brahman, Brangus Back Arena. Breed Association Showmanship’s after judging is complete in back arena.

February 18, 2025

8:00 a.m.
Judge Market Hogs -Crossbred Divisions, followed by selection of Champion Crossbreds, and selection of Grand Champions
Top 5 Swine Premier Exhibitors will be awarded after the selection of the Heavy Weight Cross Champion.

9:00 am Judge Brahman Influenced Steer Show followed by Traditional Steer Show, Main Arena.

4:00 p.m.
LSU AgCenter Livestock Show Awards Ceremony for Champion Market Animal Exhibitors, Premier Exhibitors 1st - 5th place, Superintendent of Education Award, Attorney General Award, Governor Awards, and all Champion showmanship winners
