Can you make a dance in 30 minutes? Join the Power Company Collaborative aka PoCoCo, on Camden’s Town Green from 6-6:30 October 10. Don’t miss your chance to get - dare we say - freaky and laugh with others.The perfect warm up for dancing the night away with Chris Daniels and the Kings, this session will include everyone in the choreographic process.  Bring your best buds who are seriously playful. This could be the most fun opening to your Thursday evening enjoying the MADD Festival. PoCoCo believes that everybody is a dancer, so make sure to bring your spirit of fun to collaborate in (or watch) the process.

7:00 pm - An Acoustic Evening with Chris Daniels & the Kings with Freddi Gowdy - Arts Center: Black Box Theatre

The Black Box shows with Chris Daniels and The Kings w Freddi Gowdy will just mic up our vocals. The whole sound is blended together with acoustic guitars, horns and percussion. It has the same high energy but in an intimate setting. The Kings have done this show on the nationally syndicated eTown Radio show, The Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, Colorado, The Banana Peel in Brussels, Belgium and even at the old Boykin store concert hall. As Daniels said, "I think it is one of our favorite shows to do ... take the KINGS down to a "front porch" sound and play the acoustic version. Now, don't get me wrong, it will get you up and dancing ... but it's perfect for really hearing the interplay between the instruments, horns and the vocals."

Have you ever wanted to perform in a musical theatre production but didn’t have the time to commit, suddenly got a case of laryngitis or can’t remember lyrics? Well, it’s your lucky day. The MAD festival is producing an afternoon of Broadway karaoke just for you and your wannabe closet belters and crooners. DJ Linda Carr (CarraRock Entertainment) will host.
