Outdoor Flag Display – Follow a special outdoor flag display along the Path of Remembrance and the Unit Tribute wall.
All day.

Poppy Paper Flower Craft – The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. Create a paper poppy as part of a special Museum Memorial Day display.
All Day. Experiential Learning Center.

Hands-on History – Explore equipment and uniforms like American Soldiers have used in U.S. Army history.
10 a.m.- 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. Museum Lobby.

Tiny Troops Story Time – Share in a read-aloud story time followed by a special activity. Best for children 3-6 years old.
10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Experiential Learning Center.

Memorial Day Remembrance and Moment of Silence – A call to remember their lives, their courage, their legacy and their service. Join Museum staff, volunteers and other visitors for the playing of taps and a moment of silence.
10 a.m. Museum Lobby.

Documentary Screening – “They Don’t Die Twice.” Director, Florent Plana, masterfully blends archival footage with modern reenactments, offering a gripping portrayal of the Normandy invasion.
2 p.m. Veterans’ Hall.
