Several days ago, I invited you to be one of the first to help us raise $50,000 by June 30 for the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington's Impact Campaign.

The enthusiastic response from our community has gotten this important campaign off to a great start. 

And with MoCA Arlington supporters Jean Barton, and Eleanor and Steve Harvey matching every donation up to a total of $25,000, the impact of this community support is being DOUBLED.

Friends, I hope that you will step up to help raise $50,000 to secure MoCA Arlington's future and bring more exceptional art and art-making to our region –– by making a tax-deductible gift now.

I also said that I’d share insights throughout the month highlighting key areas where we are making a difference in the community and in the broader contemporary art sector.

We believe that everyone, at every life stage, can get into a creative mindset, and we love connecting you with artists! Our free MoCA on the Move programs are designed with that in mind. 

Twice a week at Met Park in National Landing, you’ll find us under the tents with art supplies and a special activity for anyone to drop by and start making art. Often, we invite professional artists to join us and demonstrate how they create artwork of various types!

This is our third year offering MoCA on the Move, which is known as a community go-to activity where art is explored, inspiration is found, and new friendships are forged. As one recent parent shared: 

“Our family visits MoCA on the Move every Sunday and we are so grateful to have an outdoor activity where our kids can play and experiment with art. They love how each week is fun and different, and we’re happy that it’s free and near where we live.” 

We receive comments like this frequently, and for us to keep MoCA Arlington at the forefront of contemporary art and community engagement, we need your support today!
