Work in Progress: The Next Big Thing
Visit us at our newly opened Innovation Studio + Store to do free art-making, visit with an artist at work, or shop! The current resident artist, Chris Combs, is making progress with his large-scale artwork borrowing the form of Hokusai’s Great Wave off Kanagawa, recreated with industrial components like aluminum DIN rail, colorful Ethernet wire, and LED strips called The Next Big Thing. Many of the wires will be functional, connecting together a large number of small screens, computers, and lights.
Check out Chris and his work at our Innovation Studio + Store Tuesdays through Saturdays 10am-6pm.
And save the date for April 17 at the Innovation Studio when Chris gives an artist talk about the work!
