Join us for an evening picnic on the lawn of the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington with family-friendly activities, vendors, performances, and games. Grab some refreshments and bites with local food trucks, and craft espresso drinks. Come inside and explore our fall exhibitions! 

Artist David Amoroso is building a large-scale altar on the front portico of the building where your loved ones who have passed may be honored.

Global Spotlight: Tactics for Remembering

Hedieh Javanshir Ilchi: Here the waving flag. Here the other world., is the first major museum exhibition to survey the work of Iranian-American painter Hedieh Javanshir Ilchi.

In Can I See?, artist Hiromi Isobe works across media including painting, mixed media, fiber and sculpture to give form to the invisible systems that shape our world.

Upper Level: Wyatt Resident Artist Gallery 

as i look towards what could have been mine is Joey Enríquez’s elegiac ode to the desert of the American Southwest, a place synonymous with the artist’s personal ethnography, familial ancestry, and, for the artist, a place where their soul is at rest.

Sound Baths @ Museum

Join us for this lovely and relaxing event where experienced facilitators use a variety of sound instruments, including chimes, crystal quartz, and tibetan sound bowls, to bathe you in beautiful sounds as you lay or sit comfortably through the event.

Gentle Yoga in the Galleries @ Museum

$10-$20. Registration required. 

Unwind and invite balance in this flowing, gentle yoga class. Our experienced instructors will guide you through a gentle practice suitable for all levels on Monday nights in the beautiful Tiffany Gallery. Start your week on a positive note. 

Bring your own mat, a journal, and wear comfortable clothing. No late entry.

Yoga in the Galleries @ Museum

Saturdays / 11am-12pm*

$10-$20. Registration required. 

Yoga in the Galleries is a 60-minute yoga session designed to inspire and uplift. Hosted in the beautiful Tiffany Gallery every Saturday morning, you will be invited to move your body towards a presence with your inner creative. At the end of each flowing session, you will be invited to journal, doodle, draw or meditate. 

Participants should bring their own mat, water bottle, and notebook with writing utensil. No late entry.
