MADISON, Wis. — Last night (Oct 25th), WSAW in Wausau reported on Eric Hovde’s continued defense of his ignorance on the Farm Bill, which he said  during his debate loss he is ‘not an expert’ on, and has since doubled, tripled, quadrupled, and quintupled down on, saying ‘why on God’s green Earth’ would I know about the farm bill?!

Meanwhile, as WSAW noted, Tammy Baldwin received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau, their first endorsement of a Democratic candidate in at least 20 years.

WSAW: Hovde Defends Farm Bill Comments

“Republican U.S. Senate candidate Eric Hovde is defending his lack of knowledge on the U.S. Farm Bill.

“During the debate last week he said he’s ‘not an expert’ on the legislation.

“Meanwhile, Senator Tammy Baldwin has secured the endorsement of the usually Republican-leaning Wisconsin Farm Bureau.

“She’s the first Democratic candidate to get the endorsement in more than 20 years.”
