We can help, this journey is not easy.
Diagnosing mental illness isn’t a straightforward science. We can’t test for it the same way we can test blood sugar levels for diabetes. Each condition has its own set of unique symptoms, though symptoms often overlap. Register for our Family Support Group to learn more. You will be able to share your concerns with people with lived experience - You are not alone.

We discuss: Major Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Manic Depression, Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, Panic Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Co-occurring Brain Disorders and Addictive Disorders, Consider taking a semester off from college - we have a lot to talk about!

NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with a mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances. Join our hybrid Support Group 6 - 7:30 PM on designated Wednesdays of each month. All are welcome to this free support group.

We feel confident that NAMI Columbia County has been an important part of your life in the past. Please consider making us a part of your future.

Maybe you participated in a Family-to-Family class or a Family Support Group. If you are like most of us and you had a positive experience, please consider volunteering to lead a class or group. Mental health and wellness have become one of the great concerns of our current culture, and the need for support is great.

If you have two hours a week to volunteer, you can change a life in our community. Yes, you can make a difference right here.

For those with lived experience with mental health disorders you have an opportunity to participate in NAMI's signature program training. If you or someone you know might be interested in joining a dynamic, engaged Board committed to supporting families and individuals affected by mental illness please contact us.

For those with experience in bookkeeping, fundraising or other skills your knowledge will help us in many ways.

Ready to join our team!
