ART AS A LIFELINE: Photographer Torrance York on Parkinson’s, Creativity, and the Making of Semaphore
Photographer Torrance York shares how her latest body of work acted as a lifeline following her diagnosis with Parkinson’s Disease. York takes us through the process by which the images were created and published as a collection in her book, Semaphore; explores shifts in perspective; and draws connections between the visual world and her internal experience post-diagnosis.
