The Rosy Road Presents: An Afternoon for Parents of Neurodivergent Children

Saturday, December 2nd

2:00pm - 4:00pm

Craig B. Tate Conference Room

This special gathering will provide a safe and nurturing space for parents of neurodivergent children to learn more about The Rosy Road and its mission of providing an inclusive community for neurodiverse families in New Canaan and neighboring towns. It will serve as a platform to begin sharing your personal experiences of navigating the joys and challenges of raising a child with unique cognitive abilities. We are excited to invite all parents within the neurodiverse community to come together and embark on a journey of mutual support and empowerment. REGISTER

Apple iPad Basics

Learn about the different types of iPads and how to use them. This class will cover the basic features of all iPads including typing, taking photos, navigating the web, finger gestures, and more. Please bring your own, fully charged, iPad for this class. REGISTER

Winter Break Puppet Show and Craft

Join us for some wintry fun and bring your grandparents, family, and friends for a break after the holidays! Special guest Chris Palmieri of Lucky Duck Puppets will charm us with the tale of Greg the Penguin as he tries to find his place in the world and help share holiday cheer. Afterwards enjoy a special story time with Ms. Marie, crafts, and a hot cocoa station! All ages welcome, recommended for children 2–7 yrs old. Proceeds from this event benefit Family Services and the Rees Family Children’s Library.
