Due to the sizable interest in the weekly Gentle Yoga and Tai Chi classes, registration is now required. Please register for each class individually. Registration opens a week before the beginning of each month. Classes will take place in the library auditorium.

Classes begin the week of 3/13 in the Jim & Dede Bartlett Auditorium.

Gentle Yoga at the Library (all levels)

Monday's, 10am-11am

Bartlett Auditorium

We have teamed up with the New Canaan YMCA to create a tranquil, foundation-building class designed to introduce new students to yoga, as well as offer regular practitioners a gentle class to complement their yoga practice. Participants must bring their own yoga mat.

Tai Chi at the Library (all levels)

Fridays, 10am - 11am

Bartlett Auditorium

Tai chi is a series of slow, gentle motions that are patterned after movements in nature. It offers many health benefits to the body, mind and spirit. Most of the work is performed while standing and taking small steps. It can be practiced by almost anyone and in almost any situation.
