President Trump Maintains a Significant Lead Over Vice President Harris in the Sunshine State

Head-to-head, Trump leads Harris among all Hispanic voters, 56% to 40%, and holds a staggering 69% to 31% advantage with Cuban voters. According to the poll, President Trump also receives support from 20% of African American voters.

Tallahassee, Florida – Exclusive new internal polling from the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) shows that President Donald J. Trump holds a significant lead over Vice President Kamala Harris, with three weeks remaining before the November 5, 2024, election.

The poll, conducted by The Tarrance Group from October 5th to 8th, shows President Trump leading Harris 51% to 44% (Trump +7), with other candidates at 2% and 3% of voters undecided.

Regarding job approval, Harris is underwater by double digits, with 54% of Floridians disapproving of her performance as Vice President, while only 44% approve. Meanwhile, President Trump’s job approval stands at a net +7%, with 53% approving and 46% disapproving.

Fifty-six percent of Floridians agree that Kamala Harris’s “governing ideology” is further to the left than President Joe Biden’s, whose unfavorable rating is also 56%. The bad news for Harris continues, with 53% of Floridians viewing her leadership negatively.

Head-to-head, Trump leads Harris among all Hispanic voters, 56% to 40%, and holds a staggering 69% to 31% advantage with Cuban voters. According to the poll, President Trump also receives support from 20% of African American voters.

Florida voters indicated that their primary concerns are immigration/border security (20%), the economy/jobs (14%), and abortion (10%). The poll had a margin of error of 3.5%.

“Our polling shows what any sane observer already knows: Florida is not in play for Kamala Harris and the Democrats,” said RPOF Chairman Evan Power. “President Trump has a strong lead over Kamala Harris here, and this has been consistent in both public and private polling for months.”

“Facts matter, and here are the facts in Florida: There are one million more Republicans than Democrats, the RPOF political machine is working around the clock to turn out our voters, Democrats are not investing significant resources here, and Republicans win on key issues like the border and the economy. This all adds up to one thing: Florida will stay ‘red’ this election.”
